    Out. They don't have any feathers at first. Then the hen and the cock go out every in search of food for their family. The people say that if the children killed young magpies that when the children would be in bed and asleep that night the old magpies would pick the eyes out of them.
    The swan makes her nest in a little island and it is all long grass and moss, and she gets it all under the water. She then lays seven white eggs and she hatches them for seven weeks and young grey swans come out. Then first thing she teaches them how to swin, but she don't go far from the nest. If a person robbed a swan's nest the best cow would die and if you killed a swan yourself or another person
