(I have no reliable account of an actual cure by this means but I have seen a man lick a live lizard. B.A.)A fox's tongue has the power of drawing out thorns from the flesh. Sometimes there is a compress made from soap and a little piece of the tongue. The usual method is to apply the tongue complete to the spot and bandage for a day or two.
